Brief Description

Position Summary

Paskenta Mad River Brewing Company and Paskenta Brewery and Distillery are seeking a passionate, motivated Sales Representative to help grow our brand presence and distribution throughout Northern California. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, chain buyers, retailers, and consumers while increasing sales and product placements across multiple territories.
This is a dynamic position with room for growth, remote flexibility, and competitive benefits. Travel, including some nights and weekends, is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Represent Paskenta Brewery & Distillery (PB&D & PMRB) with professionalism, enthusiasm, and alignment with our tribal culture and values.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor teams, chain store buyers, and retail account staff.
    • Lead and implement key sales initiatives and brand objectives across assigned territories.
    • Communicate Paskenta Brewery & Distillery goals, policies, and product updates with distributor partners regularly.
    • Execute sales strategies and provide regular follow-up with distributor teams to ensure targets are met.
    • Educate distributor reps and retail accounts about our products and brand story.
    • Host and represent Paskenta Brewery & Distillery (PB&D & PMRB) at events, festivals, tastings, and key account activations.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding alcohol sales and promotions.
    • Conduct bi-monthly “ride-along” with distributor sales reps to understand territory needs and support execution.
    • Monitor brand visibility, pricing, promotions, incentives, and in-store displays.
    • Submit timely reports, including daily account visits, weekly distributor check-ins, and activity recaps.
    • Coordinate closely with the Marketing Department to align field efforts with brand messaging.
    • Stay current on industry trends and provide recommendations to leadership for growth opportunities.
    • Respectfully represent our tribal-owned business with sensitivity to cultural identity and values.
    • Attend webinars and stay informed about chain resets, promotions, and new opportunities.

Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a track record of success.
    • Experience working with distributors and retail beverage buyers.
    • Strong knowledge and passion for craft beer.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools, VIP, Encompass, and/or similar systems.
    • Experience working with or within tribal enterprises preferred.
    • Knowledge of the three-tier alcohol distribution system.

    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

Position Summary

The Brewer/General Laborer is responsible for all production needs and equipment maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Become confident and trained in all areas of the Brewhouse.
    • Assists with Cellar duties.
    • Works closely with the Brewery Operations Manager.
    • Assist with all packaging shifts.
    • Assist with Warehouse duties.
    • Work with Facilities Lead to complete training of basic Facilities duties, and to gain a strong understanding of the Brewhouse layout, how all equipment and machinery operates, and basic troubleshooting.
    • Brew wort.
    • Cleans and maintains Brewhouse.
    • Cleans and maintains Hop Cooler, Grain Room, and Grain Bin storage area.
    • Assists the Brewery Operations Manager with maintaining and forecasting ingredient inventory.
    • Communicates with suppliers and all members of the team.
    • Understands how to follow company policies of Purchase Orders and being able to place orders when needed.
    • Utilizes Beer 30 software and day to day data entry.
    • Responsible for knowing the recipes of the Company’s core beers.
    • Uses appropriate equipment and follows proper SOPs for all duties.
    • Maintains a clean and safe work environment
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Inputs monthly inventory checks of ingredients and supplies into Beer 30 program.
    • Trained in understanding sales needs and creating production and brewing schedules.

    • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to work long hours of heavy manual labor.
    • Must be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
    • Possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the Tribe
    • Forklift certification (in addition) required/company can certify with training
